75th Anniversary Commemoration Ceremony
This took place in Gannes on 15 June 2019, with ceremonies at the graveside and at the memorial stone near the crash site, then a reception in the village. In attendance were elected officials, members of veterans' associations, local people and representatives of four of the aircrew:
- For Douglas Dawson, his niece Chris Dawson with her son and daughter-in-law Ollie Dawson and Lesley Arnot;
- For Peter Duff, his nephew Ian Duff with his son and granddaughter Mike and Issy Duff;
- For Ian Smith, his nephew Geoff Smith;
- For Ernest Stapley, his daughter Anne Boodt with her husband Dennis Boodt.
